What does the Synoros Desktop App do that the web UI doesn't?
It lives in your menu bar and is always one click from your Foundry box. It auto-discovers Foundry servers on your LAN via mDNS, holds your SSH keys, bundles the Claude / Gemini / Codex CLIs pre-wired over SSH, and routes agent work through your local LLM first with cloud fallback. The web UI is for day-to-day management; the app is for engineer-style work.
Is this a download? When can I install it?
Not yet. The tiles below capture an email and we'll notify you when signed installers are ready for Mac, Windows, and Linux. We're not doing dated promises; the harness evaluation on real GPUs is the gate.
Which AI providers does the app support?
Claude (Pro/Max/API), Anthropic Enterprise for regulated buyers, OpenAI, Gemini, and any OpenAI-compatible endpoint (which includes local Ollama on the GPU-tier Foundry Server). Synoros never proxies; the app talks to the provider directly using your key.
Why a native app instead of a web app?
Two reasons. First, menu-bar presence: you can't do that in a browser tab. Second, SSH key management and CLI bundling require OS integration the browser sandbox won't allow. The app is AGPL-licensed; source will be on GitHub.
Does it work without a Foundry Server?
Partially. You can use it as a BYO-LLM CLI launcher against any box you SSH into. The setup assistant, auto-discovery, and log viewer features need a Foundry Server at the other end.
