Privacy Policy
Effective April 14, 2026. Last updated July 9, 2026.
Template policy. This is a plain-language description of our actual data handling. It has not been reviewed by an attorney. Questions: email jack@synoros.io.
Who we are
Synoros Software LLC operates synoros.io, a research lab website. Contact: jack@synoros.io.
What we collect
When you use the contact form, we collect:
- Your name and email address
- The subject and message you write
- Standard server access logs (the kind any web server keeps: request time, path, and IP address), used only to keep the site running and to catch abuse
We do not set marketing cookies, run analytics scripts, or use third-party ad trackers on synoros.io.
How we handle it
Contact form submissions are written to a private log file on our server, and a copy is relayed to our mailbox by email. There is no database and no third-party analytics; the log and the mailbox are the only copies.
Who else sees it
Our email provider processes the notification message in transit to our mailbox. We do not sell your data. We may disclose it if required by law.
How long we keep it
Submissions are kept until handled and periodically cleared, or until you ask us to delete them. You can ask at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. Email jack@synoros.io from the address you submitted and we will act within 30 days.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the "last updated" date above when we do.
